Let’s jump in and discover this beautiful retrospective on the wedding of Amandine and Francis in Auvergne at the Château des Roses et des Tours , in such a lovely village full of charm.
We met through Skype before a real life meeting in a mid-way engagement session between Lorraine where they were passing by and Alsace, my region. Simple and original at the same time, extremely kind, they allowed me to photograph their wedding day and what a wedding day I have to say ! In a pretty castle in Auvergne, with a totally Homemade decoration, neat details and hours of work for the bride and her family… Everything was perfect. All these pretty origami are the fruit of Amandine’s work, the flowers of Francis’ parents’ garden, making them part of the wedding as well as the bride’s sister who created all the digital work for the invitations and menus.
This was litteraly a family wedding full of details. My best recollection was the arrival of the bride and groom together dancing on a Bruno Mars song. We were far from a classic ceremony and its traditional codes and I must admit I loved every bit of it !
Every visit in Auvergne leaves me with a unique memory, I love this region so much, total fan of the landscapes and forests that we find there.
This was a such a wonderful day !
